Villamarina, bordering on Gatteo a Mare and south side hamlet of Cesenatico is a starting point to reach the most important places of this area and especially its wonderful hinterland

Famous for its characteristic port Leonardesco, named after the great LEONARDO DA VINCI built in 1550. You can visit the Church of San Giacomo Apostolo, built in 1324, the Church of San Giuseppe, the Church of San Pietro Pescatore and the Church of the Friars Cappuccini dated back to 1611.

Going north you can visit the magnificent RAVENNA, the most famous historical town of Romagna, a UNESCO World Heritage Site thanks to the beautiful mosaics, the most famous in the world. Art city with various cultural sights starting from the teodoric mausoleum, Sant’Apollinare in Classe, up to the Dante’s Tomb.

Going to the hinterland you can meet the villages of TORRIANA and SANTARCANGELO DI ROMAGNA, where you can visit castles and towers, built in the Malatestian age and innumerable well-preserved churches. The Azzurrina castle in the Montebello di Torriana resort with its legend, the convent of the clergy nuns in Santarcangelo, walking through cascading stairs and crossing these villages where time seems to have stopped. Not to mention restaurants, wine bars and small trattorias with magnificent specialties of the Romagna cuisine of other times.

Continuing for the Republic of SAN MARINO “Ancient Land of Freedom” with its old town located on the top of MOUNT TITAN: It is the oldest republic of the world where you can visit the THREE TOWERS, the Regent’s Palace, the Liberty Square and the cobbled streets with typical shops.

Among the hills bordering Romagna and the Marche can be found the ancient hamlet of SAN LEO (defined by the TV program FALDE DEL KILIMANGIARO one of the most beautiful medieval villages in Italy), remained unchanged over time. There you can breathe an atmosphere of other times with suggestive narrow streets perched on the cliff. Not forgetting the Fort, the Pieve, the Duomo, and the Count of Cagliostro.

Another great excursion is GRADARA, in the Romagna-Marche region. The place of the sad love story of Paolo and Francesca, which has become famous in the works of Dante Alighieri. In the magnificent castle of Gradara they consumed their love, which can still be visited today as a witness to the life of the two unlucky lovers. Inside the castle you can also visit the “prisoners’ room” where the torture instruments of the time are still well preserved.

One of the most important Adriatic Riviera attractions, visited every summer by Italian and European tourists is Atlantica. A distinctive symbol of the park is the large blue whale at the entrance of the park where children can have fun entering it by swimming on colorful rafts.


Take a look under the water and admire the agile swimming of the dolphins. Sociable and intelligent marine creatures, dolphins know how to arouse deep emotions and curiosity. The Dolphinarium of RIMINI hosts a group of dolphins belonging to the species “Tursiops truncatus” composed of females, adult males and their young siblings.

Fiabilandia covers an area of 120,000 square meters. It is the largest park entirely dedicated to younger children. Unforgettable are the Castle of Merlin and the Bruco Mela. Inside there is a special structure where exhibitions of educational and training kind alternate.


Aquafan, is celebrated as the most important water park in Europe. His fame is also due to the active presence of Radio Dee Jay: meeting point for young people and first private radio in terms of listening. Aquafan lights up in the evening with the Walky Cup nightclub, famous throughout the Romagna Riviera.


Thanks to its 600-square-meter panoramic screen, as high as 7 floors of a building, IMAX is an extra-large cinema.
